Over view
In 1988, during the ball of Valentine's Day in San Francisco, Adam Carr is a young shy boy. Not very popular, he tries to dance with girls, but he's systematically repelled.

Later that night, a group of boys surprises him with Dorothy Wheeler. Ashamed she pretends he forced her, and the boys beat him up. Whereas he moans lying on the ground, with his nose bleeding, the girls who ignored him earlier, come to laugh at him.

A dozen years passed by, and Paige Prescott, Lily, Kate Davies, Shelley and Dorothy are now five inseparable friends. However they never really found love and feel very lonely when arrives Valentine's Day. Surprisingly they each got nice presents, sent by an a mysterious stranger.

But as Valentine's day approach, Shelley is found dead, murdered. Then they recall the little boy they made fun of years ago, but time has passed and suspects are numerous. Only one will wait patiently for his revenge. Will they unmask him before it's too late?
