Review
Fame L.A. carries us on the west coast of the USA, near Venice beach, to follow the ups and downs of aspiring talents. Most of the characters are well written with more depth than we used to see.

Christian Kane portrays a young actor/singer trying to make it in the city of angels, who needs to struggle between his career and his brother who hit rock bottom. He is passionate, head-strong and somewhat idealist. It was an amazing surprise to hear beautiful songs performed by Christian during the show.

One of the most amazing episodes is The Key to success featuring Danny Wooten. Free from all conventions, his character Jeffrey is a brilliant tap dancer. He lives only to dance, his freedom of soul and mind is amazing, and somewhere he's what people dream of, a pure artist only dedicated to his art. I was amazed by Danny Wooten's sensitive performance of this unconformist dancer.

The show had some qualities, with great episodes and a few forgettable ones. But at the end of the day I'll remember "Can you hear me now", the last duet of the show, and recalls all the talented singers, dancers and artists who really thrilled me. Even if the show only sparkles at times, this is the feeling I'll keep with me. The passion and doubts of artists on their journey among the stars in a city where fame can be double-edged.
