In the '90s, the local TV news scene in Pittsburgh was dominated by one team: Chuck Darling and Kelly Carr. They had that elusive quality all news teams need: chemistry. at least on-screen. Off-screen, Chuck was a bit of a self-centered womanizer, Kelly a bit of an uptight know-it-all. So when Chuck got the call to move up to a larger market, no tears were shed.

"Gracie's Bully" Episode 1.06
The news team prepares for Gracie's school fieldtrip to WURG. Kelly informs Chuck that Gracie has been having problems with a class bully. While Kelly wants to handle the situation diplomatically by calling the school principal and holding a conflict resolution session, Chuck feels that Gracie should deal with the bully herself in a more direct -- and corporeal -- manner. Chuck's paternal instincts seem to rub off on Kelly. She finally decides to take matters into her own hands and is empowered to confront the bully herself.
Marsh must prove to Gary that he can read "Casey at the Bat" to the children without crying. Montana is outdone by a precocious young weather girl in Gracie's class. Ryan revisits his awkward elementary school days when he encounters a doppelganger of himself.
