James Marsters has been set as a co-lead in the feature film “P.S. I Love You” for Alcon Entertainment. The film stars Hillary Swank, Kathy Bates, Gerald Butler, Lisa Kudrow and Gina Gershon.  James will portray the role of ‘John’, the best friend and partner of Gerard Butler’s character.

The film is based on the novel by Cecilia Ahern and will be directed by Richard LaGravenese. The picture centers on a widow whose life is rejuvenated when letters left by her husband send her on a series of adventures. Production will begin mid-October. The film will be distributed by Warner Bros.

(Source JM.com and Variety) Lisa Kudrow and Jeffrey Dean Morgan have signed on for Alcon Entertainment's P.S. I Love You opposite Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler.

Kudrow will star as one of Swank's best friends, a successful and single press agent in NYC. Morgan takes a love interest role opposite Swank as an Irish singer whom her character falls for in Dublin.

Congratulations to Amy Acker on her new baby girl!
We wish the best to the happy family and to the lovely Ava Grace.

"The"Angel" actress and her actor husband James Carpinello welcomed their second child into the world on Friday, Sept. 1 in Los Angeles, reports People.

Ava Grace weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. at birth and has an older brother, Jackson, who's 19 months old.

"Amy, James and Jackson are enjoying the new addition to their family," says Acker's rep." (source)

Booth and Brennan examine the remains of a woman and fetus found in the Delaware Bay. The body is identified as that of Carlie Richardson, a pregnant newlywed whose mysterious disappearance one year ago had been a major national news story. Carlie's husband Kyle Richardson is immediately thought to be the prime suspect in the case, but he disappears before Brennan and Booth can question him, prompting Booth to call for a manhunt for Kyle. Clues found with the remains throw suspicion in a different direction, and Brennan enlists Booth and her team at the Jeffersonian to recreate the potential scene of Carlie's murder to get a better idea of the build and body type of the murderer, with shocking results. Meanwhile, Booth is annoyed that his ex-girlfriend Rachel, the mother of his son Parker, is letting Parker spend so much time with her new boyfriend, forcing Booth to be more territorial than Rachel would like in the “Mother and Child in the Bay” episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Sept. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Brennan and Hodgins join Booth and Cam at a crime scene beside an overturned garbage truck. Among the trash in the truck is the body of a young man wrapped in a shroud. Brennan finds that his skull is cracked and his leg is broken, and Hodgins determines the victim has been in the trash heap for at least three weeks. At the lab, Angela is able to identify the body from a facial imprint created by the shroud. As Booth and Brennan try to unravel the limited clues of the case, the parents of the deceased boy point a suspicious finger at their son’s young girlfriend, Kelly, a product of the foster system. Brennan takes her team members’ rush to judgment and criticism of Kelly to heart since she’s a product of the foster system as well. When Kelly confesses to the murder of her boyfriend, Brennan and Booth don’t buy it, but are shocked and disheartened to discover who the real murderer is. Meanwhile, things get tense when Brennan and Cam butt heads over their different work styles and Brennan recoils at Cam’s power plays. When a disagreement comes to a head, Cam threatens to start looking for Brennan’s replacement, even if it means losing the whole Jeffersonian team if they’re forced to take sides in “The Boy in the Shroud” episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Sept. 13 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Moments after Booth and Brennan unearth the skeletal remains of a young girl, it becomes clear they aren't dealing with just any murder case. Hodgins, Zack and Cam confirm this back at the lab when they discover that the cause of death points straight to Howard Epps, a convicted serial killer who has been on death row for years; Brennan's previous testimony in his case gave Epps a stay of execution. Booth interrogates Epps, seemingly to no avail, but after finding a clue on the deceased girl that leads them to another young body - this one only a week old - they realize that Epps is forcing them to play a deadly game. As the body count rises, Brennan and her team scramble to decipher Epps' cryptic clues in a desperate effort to find his cold-blooded accomplice. The team is pushed even further when it is revealed that the latest victim may still be alive, with only hours left to live. Elisabeth's new projects: Masters of Science Fiction and Pictures of Grace

Elisabeth was just cast in an ABC anthology series Masters of Science Fiction and starred on another movie with Dead Zone Anthony Michael Hall Pictures of Grace.

Judy Davis, Sam Waterston and Anne Heche are among the long list of actors who have signed on to star in episodes of ABC's upcoming anthology series "Masters of Science Fiction." Malcolm McDowell, James Cromwell, John Hurt, Sean Astin and Brian Dennehy also have signed on to star in installments of the six-episode series, which is based on short stories by some of the sci-fi genre's top writers. The hourlong show is set to air during the 2006-07 season. Other actors starring in episodes are Terry O'Quinn (ABC's "Lost"), Elisabeth Rohm (NBC's "Law & Order"), Clifton Collins Jr. (ABC's "Alias"), Kimberly Elise (CBS' "Close to Home") and James Denton (ABC's "Desperate Housewives"). The third episode, The General Zapped an Angel, stars Terry OQuinn and Elisabeth Rohm. Based on the short story by Howard Fast (Spartacus, Citizen Tom Paine) the episode opens outside Baghdad, where U.S. soldiers discover a mysterious casualty one they cant even identify as human.

After Aftermath, Elisabeth is playing again with Anthony Michael Hall in Pictures of Grace. In this action/romance movie AMH stars as Jake, a videographer sent to Monaco to cover the Golden Nymph Awards. He is swept up in the international intrigue of crime and smuggling. This is the second movie witten by AMH and Kurt Iverson. Grace and Monaco, those two words offers a touch of Glamour and mystery to the movie, a scent of To catch a thief. I already ordered some pop corn to watch Pictures of Grace ^_^

According to Amy Berg, co-writer of the latest episode of The 4400 The Starzl Mutation, J. August Richards was an obvious choice for the part:
"But possibly the most pivotal role in the entire episode is that of Sgt. John Shaffner. There was crucial information that this character needed to relay and if it wasn't delivered convincingly enough... well, let's just say it wouldn't have been good. When Craig and I looked at the list sent over by our casting office, both of us immediately brightened at the sight of one name in particular.... J. August Richards. We're both huge fans of his and knew if there was a guy who could pull this off, it was him. Thankfully we got him. And he's fantastic."

Jademaliburoad: How did you get into stunting?

Michele Waitman: I got into stunts by auditioning for the Indiana Jones Stunt Show at Disney MGM Studios.
After getting the job, I received incredible training there.

J: Your training and skills are impressive, what's your daily workout?

MW: Daily workout is between 4-5 days cardio followed by stretching and sit ups/ push ups.  I vary on running outside, treadmill or stairmaster.  I may train with martial arts or gymnastics.  Sometimes it depends if I'm training for something specific.

J: Do you choreograph your own stunts, and which one are you most proud of?

MW: yes and no, sometimes.

J: Are you ever afraid of doing your more dangerous stunts?

MW: afraid of certain stunts- yes, but I make sure that everything is as safe as possible.

J: You must be very proud of your twin sons, what do you feel while they perform their own stunts?

MW: I'm very proud of my boys!! They haven't done much stunts at least not on film.  ha ha they've done more acting.

J: What's the story behind your first steps into the Buffyverse?

MW: I came out to CA and auditioned for the stunt role.

J: Your husband worked on both Buffy and Angel, did you get to fight with him on Buffy?

MW: Jimmy, my husband, and I have fought on buffy and it's been very fun!!

J: What was the most challenging stunt you've done on Buffy?

MW: Most challenging stunt on buffy-  that's really hard to say.  I loved working on buffy, I had such a great coordinator and learned so much!

J: The Grudge 2 will lead you to work again with Sarah in Tokyo. Have you
ever worked in Japan and what are you expecting from the Japan martial artists?

MW: I worked in Japan over 10 years ago doing a live stunt show!  It was a great experience, just like Grudge 2 was!

J: What are your plans for the future? Anymore projects up and coming?

MW: look for more work!!!
project coming up is taking care of my kids and having a great summer!!

The WB pays last tribute to Buffy and Angel (UPDATED)

Before its last croak on sunday, Sept. 17, The WB will air the pilots of some of his hit shows, including Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel. (From Variety.)

THE WB'S FINALE (The WB) - The network formerly known as the Frog is set to sign off on Sunday, September 17 with a five-hour celebration of its signature series over the years. Encores of the pilots of "Felicity," "Angel," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (two hours) and "Dawson's Creek" are set to air that night beginning at 5:00/4:00c. In addition, the network plans to feature various classic promos and image campaigns from its 11-year history as well as a final tribute reel featuring over 100 actors. It's also understood promos for each show's off-network home and DVD release will also run as part of the licensing deal to air the pilots. As for UPN, which stops broadcasting on Friday, September 15, no plans have been announced by the netlet. The CW, the newly merged UPN/The WB network, then kicks off that Monday on September 18.

Aaron Spelling dies at 83 Saturday, 24 June 2006

Legendary producer Aaron Spelling passed away yesterday at 83. He created an impressive number of hit series including Charlie's Angels, Dynasty, Love Boat, Fantasy Island and more recenlty Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place and Charmed. Several Angel actors landed parts in his series such as Charisma Carpenter in Malibu Shores who played with Randy Spelling, Aaron's son. A great man is gone, he'll be remembered and missed.

"BENDIS: I never asked you this—what’s your writing process for comics?
WHEDON: My writing process for comics is similar to my writing process for movies, although I tend to write comics chronologically, which I don’t with movies or TV. [...]

BENDIS: It’s always fun to have one person annoying the sh** out of everybody else in the group.
WHEDON: Yes, that’s important. I call that “Cordelia.”

BENDIS: [Laughs] Oh, speaking of, I saw on the board tonight they announced the new Buffy comic. You’re gonna write a new Buffy comic?

WHEDON: I am, in fact. This was originally a concept that was designed to tie in to some Buffy movies that are probably not going to happen."

Lifetime will air in a few days a new movie starring Charisma Carpenter Cheater's club.

Therapy comes in all shapes and forms, but one shrink crosses all boundaries when she encourages patients to sleep around on their husbands! Her patients are disgruntled wives and her prescription is always the same — adultery. But this doc definitely starts second-guessing her advice as the women she's been treating start getting killed off one by one. (She should have stuck with the couples' counseling approach.) Happily n'ever after / BH Family Robinson news

Lionsgate has acquired U.S. and Canadian rights to the computer-animated storybook parody"Happily N'Ever After," featuring the voice talents of Sarah Michelle Gellar, Sigourney Weaver, Freddie Prinze Jr.,George Carlin, Wallace Shawn and Andy Dick.

Beverly Hills Family Robinson will be released for the first time in dvd in the UK. You can pre order the movie at play.com. Due for release early august 2006.

The palme d'or of the Cannes Film festival went to Ken Loach's The Wind That Shakes the Barley, starring Cillian Murphy. Southland Tales starring Sarah Michelle Gellar went away empty-handed.
According to Cannes Market, Sarah is attached to two new movies, Addicted and The Side of the looking glass.

Sarah Michelle Gellar arrived in France to promote her movie southland Tales at the Cannes Film Festival.
Pictures at the photocall this morning can be seen here.
The movie is competing for the coveted "Palme D'or" and was projected this morning at 8.30 am and will premiere tonight at 10.00 pm.
Sarah and the cast of Southland Tales will climb the famous steps of Cannes at 9.30 pm, just before the second projection of the movie.

Julie Benz recently guest starred in CSI "Time of Your Death" and she just wrapped the shooting in Montreal of her new movie Circle of Friends. Her new series Dexter should air in november on Showtime.

Veronica Mars Picked up! / New Charisma movie

It's official, the new network The CW ordered a full season of Veronica Mars. We keep our fingers crossed to see Charisma Carpenter in season three. 
Charisma will reunite with Nicholas Brendon for her new movie Relative Chaos. According to the Chronicle Herald, the movie is axpected to air on the ABC Family Network. (Heads up by cc.com forum).

Acker: 'Angel' Spin-Offs Definitely Not Happening

“I think its safe to say that’s not happening anymore,” Acker told fans at the Starfury event, “'cause if they were, they’d be getting done right now. There was supposed to be three of them –- one for Spike, a Faith one and also one for Willow. I think it's safe to say that now because its not going to happen.”

“I think it’s okay to say this now, since its not happening, but I think J (who plays Charles Gunn) was to be evil in it.” she said. “He was to become a vampire really early on in this really big battle.”

Actor J August Richards, who was also at the event, quickly confirmed that was the direction he always pictured character going.

“I’d probably have him come back as a vampire and then kill himself." Added Richards. "That’s always how I wanted it to end for my character.”

NBC loses "Conviction"

NBC has released their 2006/2007 schedule and sadly have canceled Conviction on 5/14/06, with J. August Richards. The full series consists of 13 episodes.

FOX's freshman drama "Bones" got the thumbs up for a second season while the WB's comedy veteran "What I Like About You" won't be sticking around for the UPN/WB merger.

The "Bones" renewal comes on the heels of its strong performance in the lead-off spot on Wednesday nights. 12.07 million viewers tuned into the show's March 15 installment, a surprising 2.12% growth from its final post-Idol broadcast (11.82 million on March 8).

Reposting pictures site update Written by Jademaliburoad    Saturday, 25 March 2006 I've noticed that a former .nu, now .info site have reposted most of the exclusive Strange Frequency caps with Charisma, and I'm not too happy about that. When asked politely to link back to the site rather than reposting the pictures I was told that I could go to h***. Very classy.
