Newcomer Bob Brown joins Jonas' team as they set out to rescue a hijacked plane filled with European businessmen. Meanwhile, the Unit wives help Bob's wife Kim get acclimated as she struggles against the level of control the Unit has over her personal life. Even though there seems to be a lack of privacy, there are still secrets in the Unit that must be kept private.

In march 2005 Amy Acker was cast in an upcoming new CBS drama called The Unit. Production began and after seeing the pilot, executives decided to take another artistic direction and changed the character of Kim Brown. Originally, Kim Brown played by Amy Acker was expecting a baby boy and was almost due. In the newly version, Scott Foley's wife was still pregnant but at a very early stage. In July 2005 CBS broke the news and the role was recast. Audrey Marie Anderson got the part of Kim Brown. Some scenes were reshooted and the new version of the Pilot aired on March 7, 2006 on CBS.
Based on the book Inside Delta Force. The fourth season of The Unit is currently in production (September 2008).
